What to Expect During Your First Mobile IV Therapy Visit
By Jennifer Tryk · October 1, 2026

If you've never had mobile IV therapy before, it's natural to have a few questions. Who comes to your home? What happens first? How long does it take? This guide walks you through a first visit with ReJEN Mobile Health, step by step, so you know exactly what to expect before you book.
ReJEN Mobile Health is a locally owned mobile IV therapy provider based in Anthem, Arizona. We serve clients throughout Greater Phoenix, including Anthem, Phoenix, Cave Creek, Carefree, New River, Scottsdale, Glendale, and Peoria.
What Is Mobile IV Therapy?
Mobile IV therapy means a licensed nurse comes to you, instead of you driving to a clinic or IV lounge. Your visit can take place at your home, your office, a hotel, or another private location.
At ReJEN, every IV is administered by a registered nurse, and every treatment is reviewed and approved by our supervising nurse practitioner.
Step 1: Book Your Appointment
Booking is simple. Call or text us at (614) 599-9843 and let us know:
- Where you'd like your visit to take place
- The day and time that work best for you
- Which IV you're interested in
Not sure which IV to choose? Browse our IV menu or ask us when you reach out. There's no deposit required to book.
Step 2: Complete Your Medical Screening
Before your first IV, you'll complete a Good Faith Exam, an in-person medical screening. We'll review your health history, current medications, allergies, and how you're feeling that day.
The screening helps our provider decide whether IV therapy is appropriate for you. Honest, complete answers matter, because your safety always comes first. If our provider determines that IV therapy isn't the right fit, you won't be charged. We don't charge a consultation fee.
Your intake forms and consent are completed through a secure, HIPAA-compliant system, so your information stays private.
Booking for a teen? Clients ages 10 to 17 can receive IV therapy with a parent or legal guardian present for the entire visit and a signed consent form.
Step 3: Your Nurse Arrives and Sets Up
Your registered nurse arrives with everything needed for your visit. After a quick check-in to confirm your IV and answer any questions, she sets up a clean, comfortable space wherever you are.
A few simple things help your visit go smoothly:
- A comfortable chair or couch where you can sit back or recline
- A well-lit area
- Pets secured in another room
- A short-sleeved or loose-sleeved top
- Following any instructions your nurse gives you before your visit
Step 4: Relax During Your Session
Your nurse places your IV, which usually feels like a quick pinch. From there, your time is your own. Read, watch a show, answer a few emails, or simply rest.
Your nurse stays with you and monitors you throughout your entire session. The length of your visit depends on the IV you choose, and your nurse will let you know what to expect before you begin. If anything feels uncomfortable at any point, just let her know.
Step 5: After Your Visit
When your session is complete, your nurse removes the IV, applies a small bandage, and cleans up everything she brought. There's nothing left for you to deal with.
Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, credit and debit cards, and HSA/FSA cards. We don't accept insurance. Whether IV therapy is an eligible HSA/FSA expense depends on your plan, so check with your plan administrator if you're unsure.
